about yours truely

Who can you find that is a Leo, an expert at singing in their car, and has attended mass with the pope? Kaitlyn Belmont. Kaitlyn Belmont is a Jersey girl from the Jefferson township area. She may be your typical girl with a mom, dad, a younger sister and a cocker spaniel named rusty but she is anything but ordinary. She enjoys hanging out, taking pictures, and dancing. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, if you can't find Kaite you can usually find her at home watching either House or Lost. If she is not watching her shows, you can find her watching movies of all kind, especially Almost famous. However it is not all about the screen, she likes to read The Catcher in the Rye and The Great Gatsby. Her interests range from ice cream especially Ben and Jerry's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch to New York City and shoes. Kaite has been greatly influenced by two people her mother who has taught her so much about life, people, and herself and her history teacher who has had confidence in her and pushed her to do the best she can be.
Since she is really into music it is no wonder that she attends concerts and shows and plays guitar. If she were to make a play list you would find Copeland, death cab for cutie, Rainer Maria, and hot rod circuit on it. She has performed in her school's talent show and occasionally does a duet with her friend. The Wednesday before she attended Wagner, she saw a show of The Shins with her concerts and she loved it. "It was a fun concert" Kaite exclaims. In high school she was interested in publications, photography, and writing thus she became involved in the yearbook. Attending Wagner with no regrets she is majoring in arts and administration. Perhaps the reason being is she went to Italy and Germany for World Youth Day with her church giving her an appreciation for art. A love of travel added more to the enjoyment. An experience most people don't get, she was able to meet different cultures, and indulge in delicious pastas. Only one could imagine spending their first night with 30 churches in little hotel. Or being shoved into tramcars only to have the tramcar stop in the middle of nowhere and walking for 10 miles to their destination in an awful smelling area. It may have been chaotic but nothing stopped Kaite from having a great time. At the World Youth Day, there is a trade of souvenirs, and proudly Kaite has a collection at home. This helped her to realize that she would like to be bilingual and more culture. Her goals are to become successful and happy while being fluent in French. Although Kaite is a goldfish loving bite her nails saves the day fan, you'll never find her having the same hairstyle or without a smile.

oh hell fuckin yeah

EISLEY on Wednesday night was unbelievable. I had so much fun hanging out in the city with Holly and Rob, and going to the show with Tanz and Joe. And it was sweet too cause I got to see Jimmy! Brighten was really fun and catchy, and me and Hollz totally danced. Simon Dawes was also really fun, in a cafine crazy rock 'n roll type of way. And of course, Eisley. So adorable. And did I mention adorable?
Play rehersal is pretty nuts, Friday I bascially lived at the school. But that's ok cause it's fun and coming along really well. Tech week starting Monday oh boy!
Today was fun, I worked 8 to 1, then stayed at the mall and ran some errands. Errands aka returning my other prom dress and buying really cute shoes. Ha. Then Sneaky Pete's with my dad, and then watching Lost with Chris. So fun!

Ooooh this week is unfolding.

It was one of those days when it's
a minute away from snowing and
there's this electricity in the
air, you can almost hear it, right?
And this bag was like, dancing with
me. Like a little kid begging me
to play with it. For fifteen
minutes. And that's the day I knew
there was this entire life behind
things, and ... this incredibly
benevolent force, that wanted me to
know there was no reason to be
afraid. Ever.
Video's a poor excuse. But it
helps me remember... and I need to
remember...

Sometimes there's so much beauty
in the world I feel like I can't
take it, like my heart's going to
cave in.

    <lj:music>Bloc Party- Helicopter REMIX</lj:music>

So here I am listening to Bloc Party, the Remix Album. I really enjoy it alot, it makes me want to dance. Now that I think about it, I really like dancing. But then again, who doesn't?
Today was an ok day. I wish things could have gone differently, instead of me sitting in the dark office watching Grease on VH1 for quite possibly the 5th time in a span of a month. Needless to say, Grease is a pretty good movie, but I can only handle so much of it at a time.
Being back in school is pretty crazy. I missed it, but at the same time I wish there were some classes I could just completely skip. I'm sure you can guess the ones.
It's 2006!

<lj:music>Minus the Bear- Get Me Naked 2: Electric Boogaloo</lj:music>

I haven't written in here in a while, but it seems like a good way to get all my thoughts out so I can actually get some sleep once in a while.
So, it's winter break. And unfortunatly, it's almost over. Funny how fast times flies. It's been pretty crazy/ eventful already.
The other night was Louie's Christmas party. I had such a great time hanging out with old freinds and seeing everyone. I miss those days...
Today I woke up extra early and went snowboarding, which was really fun. Until I got completley wiped out by some stupid kid. Damn you bad snowboarders who cut people off! Then I came home and got called into work, which sucked because I was really tired and I didn't want to go, but hey money is money. Then I went to a suprise birthday party, but missed the suprise since I was at work. Lame. It was still fun though. I'm so tired.
Work tomorrow, ughhhh.
